Growing up and working on my family farm in Edgar County taught me lessons that continue to shape who I am today—hard work, accountability, perseverance, and the importance of building relationships rooted in trust. Those early experiences created a strong appreciation for planning ahead, caring for what matters most, and staying committed through every season of life.
After earning a degree in biology from the University of Illinois, I served as a Marine Corps officer for nearly ten years. As a navigator in a fighter aircraft, I learned the importance of preparation, maintaining perspective under pressure, and making informed decisions in constantly changing environments. Success depended on understanding the mission, anticipating what was ahead, and helping guide the course forward—principles that continue to influence how I serve clients today.
Following my military service, I transitioned those experiences into financial advising and have spent over a decade helping individuals, families, and business owners develop thoughtful financial strategies aligned with their goals and values.
Today, my wife and I are proud to call Paris, Illinois, home as we raise our three children and continue investing in the community that has given us so much. For the past 13 years, we have been active members of the community and involved in local organizations and service efforts.
